Vicky Michalopoulou, apart from acting, has also studied digital arts in Athens School of Fine Arts (ASFA) and University Paris 8 - Vincennes-Saint-Denis (alumni 2020). However, what has inevitably structured her mindset is her studies in civil engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA, alumni 2009). As a result, during the elaboration of her master's thesis for the Greek-French Master "Art, Virtual Reality and Multi-user Systems of Artistic Expression", which was a very deep and personal journey, she invented the term "Performing Engineer". That is to say, she managed to put down in words her identity.
Her Thesis for the joint Greek-French Master Degree on Digital Arts (which is a collaboration of Athens School of Fine Arts and University Paris 8 Vincennes-Saint-Denis) was entitled:
"The Performing Engineer Towards a Poor Interactive Multimedia Theater -
A study on Samuel Beckett's Happy Days"

and led to the creation of the multimedia performance Happy 365.
The performance was officially selected from the Ars Electronica Festival 2020 in Linz, Austria.
